a pocket-sized word puzzle

Word Waypoint

how it plays

Three taps and you're playing

No timers, no lives, no word-list trivia — every puzzle is a small logic problem about how words relate.

Step 1

Read the rule chips

Each empty slot shows the rule its link must obey — Opposite, Rhyme, Add a letter, Comes before… 47 rules across four colour-coded families.

Step 2

Place the cards

Tap a card and it finds its place, or drag it to a specific slot. Decoys wait in the bank — only one arrangement completes the chain.

Step 3

Learn from misses

A wrong card explains itself before returning to the bank. Every failure tells you why, so the next attempt is smarter.

four ways to play

Four modes, one idea

Campaign

1,000 levels across 20 chapters. Clear each level to unlock the next, and earn stars for clean, hint-free solves.

Daily Puzzle

One new puzzle every day, drawn from a pool of 120 so nothing repeats within a cycle. No timer, no pressure — just keep the streak alive.

Night Line

An endless run that gets harder the deeper you go. Three failed checks end it and your depth is the score. Unlocks at level 20.

Loop Line

One word at a time, with no bank to fall back on. A single wrong word ends the run. Unlocks once you finish the tutorial.

and the boards keep changing

Nine kinds of board

The same idea, asked nine different ways. They turn up throughout the campaign and stack thickest in the bonus levels.

Junction

The chain splits into two branches. The junction word has to satisfy the rules on both sides at once.

Hidden Rule

One rule chip is hidden. Read the words around it and work out which rule connects them.

Sealed Card

A card is sealed face-down. Solve the chain around it — the seal breaks when its neighbours are checked.

Broken Chain

One word in a finished chain is wrong. Find the word that broke it and swap in the right card.

Minimal Chain

Reach the goal in as few steps as you can. Any rule may connect, but fewer stops earns more stars.

Missing Rule

The words are already placed and the rule chips are gone. Drag the right rule onto each connector.

Signal Check

Checking tells you only how many links are wrong, never which ones. Rearrange and try again.

Boss Level

Several boards, one shared budget of checks. Clear them all within it to pass.

Chapter Challenge

Five boards, six checks, no hints at all. One waits at the end of every chapter.

the honest bit

Free to finish, fair by default

Every one of the 1,000 levels can be reached and completed without paying a penny. Here is exactly how the game keeps the lights on:

Ad-free, if you want it

An optional weekly or monthly subscription takes every ad away and adds 3 free hints a day. No paywalled levels and no energy meters — the whole game stays free either way. Cancel anytime in your store settings.

Hints you can earn

Daily streaks, stamp claims, chapter crests and rewarded ads all pay hints for free. The optional hint packs sell impatience, never access.
